Really Old Art

I started out as a ceramics major while  an undergraduate at TCU, but found myself exposed to a lot of types of paintiing I'd never experienced before. This was the heyday of minimalism and color field painting, and after a couple of semesters of doing that, I switched majors to painting.

Among my professors were Otis Jones, McKie Trotter, Anthony Jones, Richard Lincoln, Harry Geffert, David Conn, and Jim Woodson - great teachers all.

Below are some examples of the work I did during the years before I went to graduate school.
